Pappas Investments announces another successful real estate transaction with Leatherby’s Family Creamery bringing the quality family owned local business to Lincoln, CA

Leatherby’s Family Creamery – Laguna Gateway Shopping Center
Lincoln, CA – (January 12, 2022) – Pappas Investments has announced the recent sale of two buildings located within the Terra Cotta Village shopping center in Lincoln, CA to Leatherby’s Family Creamery. The transaction marks the second store for Leatherby’s at Pappas Investments owned properties and will be the fourth store for the restaurant.
Terra Cotta Village is a prominent and sought-after shopping center located in Lincoln, CA. The property features a large plaza with beautiful landscaping throughout the project. Terra Cotta Village is located directly across from a brand new high school which Leatherby’s anticipates will create a unique atmosphere for their Lincoln location.
Leatherby’s is a family owned and operated business where brothers Dave Leatherby Jr. and Alan Leatherby serve as the major operators. The chain is nearly 40 years old and is primarily known for their freshly made ice cream, burgers and sandwiches, and family-friendly atmosphere.
The two purchased buildings are approximately 6,000 square feet each and will feature Leatherby’s as a single tenant in one building that will include an outdoor covered patio along with serving wine as a new offering for the restaurant chain. The additional building will consist of three additional retail operators including Neilson Fine Floors and Coco Nails, that will complement the overall merchandising mix at Terra Cotta Village.

Future Leatherby’s Family Creamery – Terra Cotta Village
Pappas Investments has established a great relationship with the Leatherby family and has plans to continue growing the relationship for years to come. “They [Pappas Investments] have been so wonderful to deal with. We’re going out there [Lincoln, CA] because of them,” Leatherby said.
